After more than two years of being grounded at home due to the pandemic, Savvy Family Travels is back and we have made our return to family travel in a BIG way! We have moved to France to live for a year and travel around Europe!

It is no mystery to many Florida’s Gulf Coast is a beautiful place to visit with wonderful weather. We were lucky enough to spend 5 weeks in this area after our first child. This afforded us with the opportunity to hit up every town in that area: Clearwater, Tampa Bay, St. Pete’s, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, New Port Richey, Hudson and Indian Rock to name just a few.
We found ourselves quite surprised by the diverse options of places to explore. Quite often, none of these activities required a theme park admission and many of them included exploring Florida’s beautiful natural outdoors. Lisbon is the beautiful, hilly capital of Portugal that is extremely family friendly. We spent six weeks in Lisbon when our children were 2.5 years old and 10 months old. Spending this much time in Lisbon allowed us to really learn about the city and discover all it has to offer. We are happy to share the best Lisbon attractions that were popular with our toddler.
Chicago is a great place to go for a weekend away with plenty of sights and food to explore. Downtown Chicago is easily walkable with plenty of public transit options to get you anywhere you need to go.
